About the Author
Clare Gallagher lives in a suburb of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and has published her debut novel ‘Birds of a Feather Flock Together’ in 2023.
This story will resonate with many readers who have studied at college abroad, made lifelong friends and had the time of their life. Clare loves to spend time reading her journals from years gone by and those memories inspire her writing.
Clare values the dear friends who have supported her through her own trials and tribulations. With many friends living in America, Clare enjoys travelling to the States as much as possible and racking up those air miles!
In addition to writing, Clare has worked in the marketing and events industry for over 20 years and is a highly experienced sales, marketing and client relationship manager. When she is not writing in her journal, Clare is taking long walks along the beautiful Irish coastline and catching up with friends.

Birds of a Feather Flock Together is a great title for this book as it sums up the characters' adventurous spirit but also showcases the true values of friendship. I very quickly found myself completely engrossed from start to finish. I loved the story of two girls from different cultural backgrounds becoming best friends. Creating memories that will resonate with a lot of people that have travelled abroad during their university years. It instantly sent me back to my younger student days... I loved it!
